Everything I use

So often am I asked what software and processing I use for my videos, and to be honest, most of it has already been featured. While this is what I’ve paid for, there are often many free alternatives, and you should look into those as well!

I aim to keep this page as up-to-date as possible, but things may change. If I miss something, let me know!

This is everything I use to create the high-quality content on my YouTube channels. From editing videos ti improving audio and more. Every item here was carefully looked into and purchased for a reason.

Everything is split into categories, and includes short descriptions of why I have included them on this list.

While I would love to include Rands for my local South African tjommies: it fluctuates so often it’s almost pointless.

YouTube Plugins

TubeBuddy

TubeBuddy

No YouTuber is complete without TubeBuddy.

I can not recommend this plugin more. I have used the mass description text replace countless times to replace old links in EVERY one of my videos in seconds rather than years.

The tag suggestions are powerful and save me tons of time.

There are tons of free features with this plugin, but you can upgrade should you want AI-related features and more. This is a super in-depth plugin with useful updates, guides and more.

This isn’t a sponsored placement, I just love this software. The support team is incredible. I have never had issues dealt with so quickly, useful details included and more. It’s just another level, and something I’m happy to continue supporting and paying for.

Audio Software

iZotope RX 10 Advanced

iZotope RX 10 Advanced

The iZotope RX 10 Audio Editor is superb software that I use Spectral De-noise in to clear audio before processing in Adobe Audition.

This software and plugin suites are INCREDIBLY expensive, but if you have the money: worth every cent. Nothing comes close to the quality of this software… sadly…

I have previously bought RX 8, 9 and now 10… So I have spent a huge amount of money on this…

The whole upgrading system on iZotope does confuse me a lot over the years, but I’m quite sure I have the iZotope RX Post Production Suite for $1,999.00… So yeah…

You can get iZotope RX Standard for $399.00 or even iZotope RX Elements for $129.00, but those will lack so many features.

Audio/Video Software

Adobe Creative Cloud

Adobe Creative Cloud

Overpriced when it comes to smaller creators, but everywhere. Falls apart and crashes often when projects get complex, but besides that it’s trusty enough to be the industry standard…

Adobe After Effects here and there, Audition and Premiere Pro in every video.

I have moved from Photoshop and Illustrator to Affinity, and I could not push you more to give it a try as well.

In Premiere Pro I use NeatVideo, a plugin that uses AI to clear up noisy images. This works wonderfully on my computer, and even supports the use of multiple graphics cards!

I also own the AEJuice Premiere Pro bundle, but I don’t think I use many of their transitions and effects as much as I want to.

The same goes for RE:Vision Effects ReelSmart Motion Blur Pro, I don’t have many places I could add motion blur to in desktop recording guide videos, but it’s useful to have when you’re looking to add some sweet motion blur.

Photo Editing/Design

Affinity V2 Universal License

Affinity V2 Universal License

Affinity is incredible software that far overtakes Adobe in some aspects, and I couldn’t support them more.

Heck, pay once and YOU OWN IT. This is revolutionary when it comes to paid software that takes on Adobe (sad to say).

Affinity Photo, Affinity Designer and Affinity Publisher are all incredible software.

I bought the entire Affinity suite, and now the second suite. You get it on macOS and iOS copies of the software as well FREE!

Price: $164.99
