TroubleChute’s Windows
You may notice that my Windows does not appear ’normal’. It seems some things are skinned. You are correct!
I have many little changes and personalization tips to share with you, and they’re all on my channel already.

TroubleChute’s Start Menu (and custom Start Menu icon)
I use software called Start11.
Windows 11 offers minimal customizability to the Start Menu, especially compared to previous Windows iterations.
This allows me to completely replace the background, theme and even move it to a completely remade and improved Start Menu. This includes the icon.
You can find a complete guide to creating a custom Start icon for Windows here:

TroubleChute’s custom Right-Click Menu (Context Menu)
This is a special one, and I’m super sad I didn’t find out about this earlier.
I use software called Nilesoft Shell.
It provides incredible control over the Windows Context Menu, and even allows you to theme it!
I love this indie project so much I created a Discord for them, which became their official one. It’s a super unknown gem! You can join the Nilesoft Community Discord should you want themes, help and more.
I use a modified Catppuccin Nilesoft Shell theme. This is where I originally found out about it, and have used it since. It tries to emulate the preview of the 3 themes they offer with that gradient, just without the super bright background. I think it looks great!
Once on the Discord, you can find it in this channel

TroubleChute’s Terminal (Cmd, PowerShell, etc.)
The Windows Terminal is software that you can install to ‘replace’ Command Prompt, PowerShell and other command line interfaces. This comes pre-installed on Windows 11.
You can theme this. Everything from color palette, to backgrounds. That’s what I’ve done.
The color palette I use is the Dracula Windows Terminal.
The wallpaper is just the Windows XP “Bliss” wallpaper.
I have a guide on theming the Windows Terminal, here:

TroubleChute’s PowerShell (Icons in CLI)
It blows my mind that these little buttons or ‘pills’ are featured ON THE OFFICIAL WINDOWS TERMINAL STORE PAGE AND ARE NOT A FEATURE!
These are added by third party software. That software is called Oh My Posh.
I have a guide on using Oh My Posh, here:
There is also a guide for using this on Ubuntu/Linux/WSL Here

TroubleChute’s Cursor theme/skin
The cursor pack I use is called Catppuccin.
I came across this theme from a comment, and have fallen in love with the color scheme. I came across the official cursor pack, but couldn’t get it working on Windows.
I came across a copy made for Windows on DeviantArt which worked great.
In particular, I use the Catppuccin-Latte-Light-Cursors
(in the Latte section of the pack zip).
