Below are all of the videos I’ve created (TroubleChute and TroubleChute Basics).
This should not be confused with the TroubleChute Hub (https://hub.tcno.co/) where you can find in-depth articles and information extending videos. This section, “videos” is instead a “YouTube Alternative”. I do have plans for uploading to other platforms to offer mirrors for videos.
Why?
Well, put simply… My channel is incredibly advertiser-friendly and YouTube-friendly, however, the system sometimes works against me.
While my videos are all completely legitimate and educational in nature, with their entire goal to help people with technology… I do link to articles, documentation and more in the description of my videos. I have recieved 2 strikes for linking to websites that have either changed hands, or been hacked. They host malware, or are otherwise flagged by Google. Upon a website being flagged and showing that “DANGER: Are you sure you want to proceed” sign, links in my descriptions could lead to comminity guideline strikes. These are usually sorted out as the video shows the websites working as intended, and I end up removing the description… But my last strike in October 2022 lead to me being banned from uploading for a week – and even 10 days after appealing my application has not even been looked at.
At least when copyright strike or community guideline appeals are automatically denied I can contact their Twitter support for a real human.
This time I’m stuck in the cold with no help.
It’s truthfully a fight against the machine sometimes.
Hence this site exists!
