Rendering video can be slow and boring. Even though Premiere promises to “use GPU Acceleration” in rendering… It’s only for certain effects and operations, most of the work is done by your CPU.
Using an external renderer like Daniel2 for h.264, HEVC and their proprietary Daniel2 codec can be a ton faster because they ACTUALLY support GPU accelerated encoding and decoding!
