Why reinstall Windows 11’s Default Apps?
While a lot of the apps on this list come pre-installed with Windows: If you uninstall them, or use a Windows ISO that has some apps removed you may want to reinstall specific apps you actually use. Below is a (hopefully) updated list of all the default Windows 11 apps, their Microsoft Store link and WinGet code to use with Microsoft’s command line tool WinGet
The apps are usually hidden from the Microsoft Store as they come preinstalled. You’ll need a direct link or code to install them, hence this page.
The Install button opens the Microsoft Store app, and the Web link opens the page in your browser instead.
To use the WinGet command, make sure it’s installed, then copy and paste the command into the Command Prompt or PowerShell as Admin.
